Transavia.com

Transavia Airlines was founded in late 1965. Since December 2004 its public name has been transavia.com, changed from Transavia Airlines. |
The company has Amsterdam Airport Schiphol as its home base and transports approximately 4.5 million passengers a year to holiday destinations in Europe and Africa. The fleet consists solely of Boeing 737 aircraft of the Next Generation. |
On a transavia.com flight one thing has top priority: a safe flight. Naturally the quality and safety standards of Transavia airlines also apply to these flights. Transavia airlines has received international recognition from the Civil Aviation Authority, on behalf of the Joint Aviation Authorities, for its overall airline operation. This recognition, the EU-OPS Air Operator Certificate, is a mark of quality for standards relating to flight preparation, performance and maintenance. Furthermore, in 1992 Transavia Airlines C.V. was the first organisation in Europe to receive the JAR-145 (now PART-145) certificate, a quality certification for the maintenance of aircraft following the latest European requirements.
